Roggen is a style that is almost extinct in Germany. Very few breweries produce this specialty. The Baron Roggen is similar to the few remaining examples of the style. It is pale, golden in color with a tinge of copper / amber. The taste is full of wheat and rye with a crisp clean finish that doesn't linger, proving that a full bodied beer can still be extremely light and drinkable.
All ingredients for the beer are imported from Germany. Brewed in accordance to the German Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516.
